ATX announces the new release of the Forms2Net tool

Migrating from Oracle Forms to the .NET platform is now even easier. Forms2Net 3.5 brings you faster applications that are more easily maintainable.

Forms2Net 3.5 has full support for ASP.NET (using the Microsoft Ajax Toolkit), including client-side validation, avoiding unnecessary accesses to the server.

Forms2Net 3.5 allows for different screen interaction modes (insert, edit, query and read only), more closely recreating the behaviour of the original Forms application, and allowing the inline inserting and editing of data.

Furthermore, Forms2Net 3.5 also features a Visual Studio Software Factory for easy application maintenance, further reducing the effort and cost associated with this process.

Forms2Net is the only comprehensive tool in the market that migrates Oracle Forms (v4.5 up to 10g) applications to the .NET platform, achieving up to 100% rate of automation and generating pure .NET code.

Forms2Net 3.0 launch was a success

On 12 March, ATX Technologies presented the lastest version of Forms2Net© (v3.0) at Techdays 2008 in Lisbon.

Techdays 2008, organized by Microsoft Portugal, represents one of the biggest concentrations of professionals of the information technologies sector, dedicated to the promotion of the knowledge, innovation and entertainment in the area. During the three days, about eighty technical and laboratorial sessions had been presented by national and international orators, having the session of Forms2Net been in prominence, where more than 100 participants came from all over Europe, including representatives of Microsoft corporation.

Forms2Net© 3.0 supports the new generation of Windows applications, based in Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and WPF which will open new opportunities in the migration software market.

ATX Technologies presents Forms2Net 3.0

ATX Technologies announces its participation in "TechDays 2008". This is the biggest technological event in Portugal organized by Microsoft. TechDays 2008 will take place March 11th-14th in the Lisbon Congress Center. On March 14th at 15:00, ATX Technologies will present the world-wide preview of Forms2Net© 3.0 in Pavilion 2 of the Lisbon Congress Center.

Forms2Net in the German market

The ATX Technologies announces the beginning of the commercialization of the Forms2Net© - a tool for automated migration of Forms Oracle to .NET - in the German market, after agreement signed with the company Imining Gmbh, with headquarters in Munique.

According to Michael Tietz, CEO of the Imining Gmbh, "we attend an increasing search of harmonization of heterogeneous technological structures, necessity this that is satisfied by Forms2Net of the ATX Software, generating code 100% .NET with an average level of automatic migration between 70% and 90%, opening to our customers the perspective of income-producing technological migrations".

"The Imining is a company with strong technological base and will be without a doubt a valuable partner for the ATX Technologies in the German market" relates to Nuno Antunes of the ATX Technologies.

The Portuguese company, who already had agreed a similar partnership in Chile for the commercialization of the Forms2Net©, now guarantees the spreading of its products and technological solutions of vanguard in plus a European country. After opening a branch office in Las Vegas and having initiated the commercialization of the Forms2Net© in Chile, this is one more step in the strategy of internationalization of the ATX Technologies.

ATX Technologies Forms2Net partnership in Chile

ATX Technologies started direct sales of Forms2Net© in the chilean market, through a partnership just signed with the company DBNeT, with headquarters in "Santiago do Chile".
DBNet is a company well known in Chile and with a great background and know-how in Oracle technologies, especially in "Oracle Developer".

ATX Technologies opens subsidiary in the United States

ATX Technologies just signed the final partnership agreement with a canadian company to open his subsidiary in the United States.

The new company, named REALEASE LLC, will have his headquarters in Las Vegas and his main objective will be to increase and accelerate the distribution and sales of Forms2NET in the US market.
Forms2Net is an ATX Technologies product, based in portuguese technology and focused in the migration of Oracle Forms application to Microsoft .Net technology.
The new company staff will be composed by portuguese and american technicians, from the two founding companies.

The REALEASE LLC business plan has the objective of ,in a short period of time, extend his activity to all the american states.

Forms2Net has new features concerning conversion to the .NET framework

From now on, it is possible to migrate Oracle Forms applications to Microsoft ASP.NET, thanks to the new version of the software tool Forms2Net 2.0, integrated in the Visual Studio 2005 environment.

Forms2Net 2.0 is the first software tool world-wide with this feature, which aims to help companies migrate their Oracle Forms applications to Microsoft .NET and take advantage of this Microsoft framework.

It allows automating the code generation by up to 100%, saving time, human and financial resources, while respecting all Microsoft's best practices. ATX Technologies is a partner in Microsoft's VSIP (Visual Studio Industry Partner) and SSMA (SQL Server Migration Assistant) programs.

Forms2Net at Microsoft TechDays 2005

ATX Technologies presented the Forms2Net migration tool at the Microsoft TechDays 2005 event, Lisbon, 7-10 November.
